Your child can bring things from home to use e.g. all the paper bits they have lying around and don’t want to throw away, party invites, cinema tickets, drawings etc plus they can use my huge amount of fabrics, paper and stickers etc. Parents can stay if they like. I’m in the centre of Muswell Hill and The Green Shed is heated so it's warm and cosy.

Children's parties.

2 hours. £14 per child

From ages 6/7 upwards. Children sit round the table and I help them make vintage fabric bunting, pictures or cards for about an hour. Depending on the ages of the children I'll need two or three parents to be in there with us helping with cutting out fabric or what a child might want help with. This helps keep the cost down as then I don't need 'staff' and it's also nice as the parents will generally already know  most of the children and each other. It's all very relaxed, informal, unstructured and great fun. With our help they make something lovely to take home. After about an hour they're ready to have a play in the garden while the birthday child's parent/carer brings in the food eg sandwiches and birthday cake (which you provide). The cake can be cut up to take home if you like.

Children's workshops.

Ages 7 upwards. Each child is £14 for 2 hours or £21 for 3 hours.

You provide your child and three or four of their  friends and I'll help them make vintage fabric bunting, cards, lavender bags, and pictures from my large collection of fabric and trimmings. It's fun, informal and unstructured. They can be here for 2/3 hours. Tell me what time would suit you.

If you like, I can provide little going home presents.

Vintage fabric lavender bags which come in a little cellophane bag and a 'lots of love' label sewn on. They are £4 each. They measure aprox 9cm square.

Or a 'scrap pack'  of vintage and new fabric and little fabric flowers for children to make cards and pictures with at home. £6 each. Size 18cm x 23cm

It's a bit different from the normal party party bags  and I can also make up beautiful little cellophane  bags of sweets or chocolates to go with them so the children don't feel deprived of their sweet treats.

Adult workshops.

Daytime or evening. Between 5 and 14 people. Per person £20 for 2 hours or £25 for 3 hours.

Let me know if you'd like me to be with you or if you're happy to be on your own with your friends. I provide fabric and trimmings.
